The signature Carker embellished! This is exciting because Anya Hindmarch is not one for embellishments but when she does, she does it with restrained modesty. How fabulously English of her =). The shoulder bag has an adjustable strap to go crossbody and it's removable to be used as a clutch. Perfect use of the fringe and beading. It adds glamour to day and the right amount of glitz to evening. The word fringe usually send me running but this is more like shredded leather strips instead of dangling cowboy tassels. The beads have a whimsical texture, great fun on a truly utilitarian bag. Black allows for versatility so you can use it everyday. With designers finally beginning to understand that true gentlemen want bags that are both functional AND elegant (the latter was seriously missing in recent years), I'm thrilled that Anya Hindmarch, one of my favorite labels whose namesake designer is a true sweetheart, is entering into the men's world with a new bespoke line of about 50 pieces. Her first piece--a briefcase in natural brown leather lined in woven jacquard and bound in grosgrain ribbon--was created in collaboration, and named for, Dylan Jones, the editor of British GQ. "I have always been obsessed with men's accessories, because there is such a straitjacket when it comes to the limitations of what men can and will -- and indeed won't -- wear," Hindmarch tells the magazine. The resulting bag is a shape that doesn't break new ground in any way, but it's nevertheless sleek and very utilitarian. Despite its deceivingly polished exterior--not a single extraneous pocket or embellishment in sight--inside there's room aplenty: pockets for the Blackberry, business cars, keys and a smaller-sized computer.

This chic shiny number by Anya Hindmarch has certainly grabbed my attention. The woven look is big this year and I adore the metallic twist this piece takes. This would look amazing with a bright coral dress and some super high wedges, or would even dress up a romper and flats.
I love the free style of summer bags (as we are all feeling the ridiculous cold of this insane winter all I can seem to think of is warm weather and all that it brings). This piece almost has a bohemian feel to it with the tassel, which of course, I love. Fun, functional and fabulous, this clutch will be clutch come summer.

The Anya Hindmarch maxi zip leather shoulder bag is adorable. It is the perfect everyday bag that will look chic and understated with ease. With soft stone colored leather and long strap, it can be carried on the shoulder and yes, of course, crossbody (applause). It has an insane amount of pockets, one outside, four inside and even has credit card slots so you may not even need a wallet! I also love how the large flap unzips to expose the inside of the bag.
This bag is simple, cute with the tiniest details of little tassels on the zippers (sigh) with sexy gold hardware. I would love to rock this bag daily. One drawback; it comes with a hefty price tag. $1,100 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Yup, I'm still here, and I am as stumped as you are. While I was perusing the Sak's website I came across this bad boy and all I have to say is.... YES!
Not, "YES, I am going to wear the crap out of this bag and everywhere I go I will yell at people to look at how awesome it is!" but, "YES! FINALLY, a gift for my retired 2nd grade teacher for her carry her cat to the vet in!"
In all seriousness though, I have to ask.... Why?
Why does this giant blue tote have eyelet details all over it? Why does this giant blue tote have eyelet details in THE SHAPE OF A BOW on the front of it, and why doesn't my great aunt Shirley already own this?
I'm not saying I don't love a good giant tote. I do. They are practical and useful and necessary in a lot of instances. This one, however, just makes toting painful. The bow on the front of this is completely stupid and unnecessary and I get anxiety when I look at it.
What else is wrong with this picture? This tote is $495.00. I mean come on, its canvas.
